Curriculum Update: December 12 - 16

Last week, students were introduced to persuasive writing (AKA opinion writing). This week, students will learn about the different parts of a strong persuasive writing piece such as an introduction, citing evidence to support their reasons, and providing a "call to action." Persuasive writing is a powerful tool for expressing one's opinions, and students will learn to use persuasive writing as an outlet to inspire change in the world around them.
